I have found, over the past few months, that while there are a lot of people searching for work from home jobs, the majority don't want to pay any sort of start up fee. Personally, I think the sign up fee is pretty small compared to other companies and especially for starting your own business! Plus, if you aren't willing to invest in yourself, who else is.
But, if you literally have no money, the way to start is by pre-sales! I'm going to talk about the two countries that I have the most experience with, the UK (SheerSense) and the US (Senegence) but if you apply the same process and just switch the values, you can easily transfer it to your country. Let me know if you need any help.
Starting with the UK.
The basics you need to grasp to begin are the initial costs:
- Sign up fee: £85
- Starter kit: £50
- Maximum discount: 40% off a 300PV order, this is the equivalent to £600 before discount, therefore you end up paying £360
So to hit £360 you need to sell 8 starter kits. You will then have £400 in pre-orders. To cover your sign up fee, you need an extra £85. While you can cover this with just one extra starter kit sale, the easiest way is to sell 10 starter kits, so you have £500 in pre-orders.
Add these 10 starter kits to your basket then top it up to total at least £600. There are two options from here.
- Add £100 with of product for yourself, keeping the price to pay at £360, therefore you make £140 profit, of which £85 goes towards your sign up fee, making £55 profit. You can see, this is more than a starter kit so if you only sold 9 starter kits, you will make £5 profit.
- Take away £85 from your £500, making £415, therefore covering your sign up fee. Invest the entire remaining about in your business on testers and product for yourself. So instead of adding £100 to take the total to £600, add £191 to take the total to £691. The £91 is the remaining £55, that you have left, before the discount.
Onto the US.
The basics you need to grasp to begin are the initial costs:
- Sign up fee: $55
- Starter kit: $55
- Maximum discount: Fast Start programme allows for 50% off a 300PV order within your first 30 days; this is the equivalent to $600 before discount, therefore you end up paying $300
So to hit $300 you need to sell 6 starter kits. You will then have $330 in pre-orders. To cover your sign up fee, you need an extra $55, hence one extra starter kit sale. So you need to aim to sell 7 starter kits in order to start your business and cover your sign up fee.
Add these 7 starter kits to your basket, totalling $385. Top it up to total at least $600 by adding $215 worth of product for yourself. This will then mean that you will pay $300 for $600 worth of product. You will have $85 remaining from your pre-sales. This can then be used for your sign up fee, making it free and the remaining $30 should cover your shipping and taxes that are charged for each order. The exact cost of these changes depending on the size of your order and the state in which you live.
I hope that all makes sense! If not feel free to contact me for a one-on-one explanation.
