When I first saw the name of Senegence's scent, I thought for sure they had spelt perfume wrong, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was actually spelt correctly! I am so excited to show you guys these picture perfect EyeSense looks showing all 5 of our currently available shades.  Senegence currently had 2 permanent range EyeSense's with Black Brown and Black shades available in the full line. The Black is a little more severe while the Black Brown is more subtle for softer looks. Both are beautiful and interestingly, have been recently reformed. The new black is a reformulation from apparently a really old one that used to sting. This one still has alcohol but doesn’t sting. Both the Black and Black Brown contain alcohol. The three limited editions shown here are Gilded, Ocean and Starry Sky and none of these have alcohol. I currently have all 5 available but as the three are limited edition, if you want those, I would suggest ordering soon!

Upselling is a great way to have people spend more money as they are already placing an order. There are a few things that are important to know about it that will help everyone be successful, especially during holiday seasons and special occasions. 1. It has been shown that customers will purchase the upsell 33% of the time. So if you ask 10 people, 3 will actually say yes. That means it's okay to have people say no! Don't be afraid. 2. One of my favourite things about makeup is that they can take any look from a simple daytime look to a stunning evening glam in just a few minutes. Here are a few easy and quick steps to do just that! Change clothes!  Add jewellery.  Style your hair (I brushed and straightened). Remove any current LipSense and apply a new bolder colour with a speciality gloss. Blot your face of shininess and touch up with concealer. I use either Candlelight ShadowSense or Concealer in Light.  Create a cute eye look with ShadowSense.  Coat your eyelashes in mascara using LashSense.  Add highlighter and contour with ShadowSense. I love using Pink Opal Shimmer and Moca Java.  Finish with blush using BlushSense (in Pouty Pink or Pink Berry) or ShadowSense (in Mulberry).  Perfect your brows. My night time routine has become a lot more detailed over the past few months. Before Senegence I used to wash my face and apply my prescription medication but now it's had a few more products added in. I'm still quite basic and there aren't a huge tonne of products but there are defintely some. I start by brushing my teeth and as all the makeup I wear is waterproof, it stays on! I then put on a thick layer of Ooops! Remover on my lips or a layer of Fooops! Remover all over my face. The removers get the makeup off really easily but the tip is to let the product sit for at least a couple of minutes. It's at this point I tie my hair up and put on my pyjamas. I use my makeup eraser flannel to take off all my makeup. I find it super easy to use just with warm water and it's so soft, it doesn't hurt or scratch my delicate skin. As you may no, I have struggled with acne for a long time. I have had a hard time and been incredibly self-conscious over the years but Senegence makeup has provided a way for me to feel at least somewhat more confident in my skin. I thought I would quickly share the products I use for my simple everyday makeup. I try to keep it as quick as possible for those days I'm in a rush. I start with my skincare which is very similar to my night time routine so I won't go into that but then I finish with my moisturiser. While I can't wait to try Senegence's moisturiser, I still have lots of my previous one left so I use Olay Daytime moisturiser in Sensitive. I then let that sit or 10 minutes before starting my makeup application. In this time I tend to get dressed and pack my lunch for the day. I shared all about EyeSense a while ago now but I never shared the ingredients so I thought it was about time I shared the main ones and their benefits! Denatured Alcohol: used as a delivery system for the colour technology and creates a germ and bacteria-free environment. PPG- 20 Methyl Glucose Ether : helps increase smoothness of application and humectancy performance of product. Dimethicone : silicone oil used as a skin protectant. Hydroxyethylcellulose : a modified cellulose (chief constituent of the fibre of plants) used as a binder, emulsion stabiliser and thickener. Silica : used as a thickening agent in cosmetics.

Our cosmetics products do not contain a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) but they do contain a mechanical shield which is equivalent to SPF 15. This is buildable, so the more product you use, the higher the SPF equivalent. For example, if you wore a Daytime Moisturiser, Light CCTM and MakeSense Original Foundation, you would have the equivalent of SPF 45. There are a number of ingredients that afford sunscreen capabilities, for example, algae or orchid. If you are questioning the active ingredient that is a considered sunscreen ingredients, you are probably referring to the ingredient that the FDA has classified as sunscreen. Titanium Dioxide would be the ingredient found in our foundation. Which is why we can't say it is a sunscreen and say it acts as a mechanical shield . They also contain Octyl Methoxycinnamate and Benzophenone as UVA and UVB sunscreens.
