As you may no, I have struggled with acne for a long time. I have had a hard time and been incredibly self-conscious over the years but Senegence makeup has provided a way for me to feel at least somewhat more confident in my skin.
I thought I would quickly share the products I use for my simple everyday makeup. I try to keep it as quick as possible for those days I'm in a rush.
I start with my skincare which is very similar to my night time routine so I won't go into that but then I finish with my moisturiser. While I can't wait to try Senegence's moisturiser, I still have lots of my previous one left so I use Olay Daytime moisturiser in Sensitive. I then let that sit or 10 minutes before starting my makeup application. In this time I tend to get dressed and pack my lunch for the day.
It's funny because since I've filmed this video, I've actually changed how I apply my makeup a little bit so I'm going to write how I do it now, but you can watch the video for a slightly different way.
I take a small dense brush and Concealer in shade Light and apply it generously over my problem areas and active acne or scars. This allows me to have a coverage over these so I use dramatically less foundation.
I then used MakeSense Original Foundation in Ivory using a Real Techniques Stippling Brush. I've seen lots of different ways to apply the foundation but I tend to apply about a quarter of a pump direct to the brush and do one area at a time, starting with my forehead. I swipe the foundation on before going back over and gently dabbing it all over. I repeat until I've covered my entire face. If I feel an area still hasn't enough coverage, I go back over with Candlelight ShadowSense as concealer.
I then let that sit for a few minutes before applying blush. I switch interchangeably between by No. 7 in Rose Blossom and BlushSense in Pouty Pink or Pink Berry.
Most days I do then apply my LipSense Lip Colour of choice but if I'm in a complete rush or staying home all day, I do just go for Glossy Gloss as well.
I tend to leave my everyday makeup there but if you like contouring, highlighting or wearing eye shadow daily, ShadowSense is the product for you!
